Last Night saw an England Legends Team take on a Republic of Ireland Legends at Craven Cottage, I decided against watching it live and opted to Sky+ it and watch today!
What a game, 6 goals, Great saves, and a Penalty Shoot out that England actually won!
Jason McAteer scored the best of the goals a fine volley into the top corner.
That set my day up nicely, which at present is consisting of watching Skysports News and Surfing the net!
I'm getting more confident on my crutches so i've been up and about the house! I even managed to stick last Sundays soaking wet kit in the washing machine!!!! (forgot all about it!)
Skysports news has concentrated on John Terrys back injury and him missing the Kazakhstan game and Wayne Rooneys new grade 1 haircut!!
Really looking forward to tomorrows game, think we'll win and win well. We're due a decent home performance. Predicting a 4-0 win, but i'll take 3 points no matter how it comes!
The loan of my Nan's wheelchair fell through, but someone suggested hiring one from the Red Cross. So after a quick phone call and parting with a small donation a brand new wheel chair was delivered to my front door! I can see me having fun with that! Although I'm unsure if I'll brave the pub wit the lads to watch the England game.
The postman brought an amusing letter today, having applied to run the London Marathon my acceptance letter arrived this morning!
Sod's law...... The previous times i've applied i've been rejected and had to get a charity place...... The one time i get through i can't run..... oh well Something to aim for next year!!
I'm looking forward to watching the Under 21's and a takeaway tonight.
Can't believe it's nearly been a week since i injured myself, I think next week will be a lot slower!!!
