Playing for League One Swindon Town against Steaua Bucharest (1986 European Cup winners) in a pre-season friendly on Thursday, July 11 2008. I played two minutes. My arrival coincided with the Steaua equaliser to make it 2-2. On the bright side, however, I did get to touch the ball from the subsequent centre. Such was my impact that Romanian TV scrambled for an interview at the end of the game...
