Want your name up in lights? Is your club missing out on the fame and glory it deserves?

Weekend Wonders has set up two new weekly competitions to give you a shot at the big time... well, sort of.

Every Monday we’ll be igniting a bit of friendly rivalry between you guys for Player of the Week and Team of the Week.

Two players will be selected to feature on the players hub. The chosen pair will go head-to-head in a battle to see who gets the most ratings, not the highest ratings.

At the end of the week the player with the most ratings will claim their prize – a feature article on Weekend Wonders – just like the pros get in FourFourTwo.

The champ will also win a pair of Mitre Primo shinpads and an FA coaching book to help them polish their skills.

A similar format will operate on Team of the Week. Two teams will be picked to star on the club hub.

Just like the players, the chosen clubs will go tête-a-tête, with a week to sign up as many team-mates as they can.

The club with the most new sign-ups will feature in an article on Weekend Wonders, as well as winning a new match ball – a Mitre Calcio football – and an FA coaching book to spruce up their club’s training sessions.

Who knows your club might end up arranging friendly, unearthing a new star or exchanging some good old fashioned banter.
